Scope of Work The scope of work from time to time will include, but not be limited to planning, researching, and analyzing data, including business scenarios of the client; making of reasonable decisions, once having ascertained the environment, and then providing recommendations according therewith, along with the risks and issues involved with each alternative to the respective client. Typical Duties and Responsibilities The typical duties and responsibilities of the designated ‘Professional Management Consultant’, which commence with the initial specification of the set requirements, including the performing of product implementations, and training and supporting of client personnel throughout the product and service lifecycle, will include, but are not limited to: assisting Haywood Dennis with gathering and loading of client data, and analyzing client business requirements and subsequently provide solution and alternatives; applying due diligence in the performance of all assigned duties and responsibilities in order to ensure the completion of all tasks within the stipulated timeframe; estimating project and task efforts and recommending specific resources for initiative; creating project plans, schedules, and driving internal and external delivery dates; ensuring compliance with contract specifications for both maintenance and capital contracts; co-ordinating team efforts and establishing project timelines and milestones; ensuring that the set standards and policies are being adhered to as the general conditions of a given contract; communicating project status internally and managing client expectations; providing a consistent high quality service; serving and treating all clients with courtesy and impartiality; acting as a support or resource to other departments as needed; complying with the set standards and policies as outlined; ensuring compliance specifically with procedures for the acknowledgement and answering of correspondence, preparation of agenda items and communication requirements; building and maintaining sound and productive working relationships with the client, their colleagues, supervisor and fellow team members; keeping accurate and concise records of work and milestones; developing and implementing functional specifications documents to detail project deliverables; supporting the client beyond implementation and providing technical and product assistance; contributing to Haywood Dennis' product knowledge base; proactively addressing client concerns and preventing problems from arising; contributing to research and development activities pertaining to the creation of new or upgraded products and services; and contributing to a positive team attitude. |
