Scope of Work The anticipated scope of work, from time to time, will include, but is not limited to research or study of chemical composition and processes of living organisms that affect vital processes such as growth and ageing, to determine chemical actions and effects on organisms.
The typical duties and responsibilities that will be undertaken by the team members shall from time to time include: researching methods of transferring characteristics; developing and executing tests to detect disease, genetic disorders, or other abnormalities; designing and building laboratory equipment needed for special research; preparing reports and recommendations based upon research outcomes; developing methods to process, store, and use chemical compounds; isolating, analyzing, identifying, and determining effects on functions; and researching and determining chemical action of substances; responsible for researching and developing new polymers, plastic materials, substrates and composites; developing new products to meet customer needs, from the prototype stage through production stages; investigating new chemical equipment and designing new processes; writing QC specifications for new products which includes incoming raw materials and on line testing - finished goods - product field performance; providing technical assistance at customer location during validation trials; providing written reports of such trials; maintaining accurate documentation of all development activities and programs by use of electronic apparatus; providing input to the Financial Analyst to aid in the accurate costing of new products and processes; interfacing with purchasing to insure that all new materials are approved, and that new material suppliers are audited; designing systems for handling and disposal of waste by products generated by new products that are developed; troubleshooting any process or material related production problems which may improve either quality or productivity; providing proper supervision and training for engineers and technicians; preparing flow Charts, and control plans for new products; evaluating new technology available with respect to flocculent and its processes where applicable to finished products; working effectively in a team-oriented environment where trust and teamwork are encouraged; and operating in accordance with internationally accepted principles and standards. |
